CyberShard does not:

  • Store complete private keys or seed phrases
  • Provide wallet services or transaction execution
  • Act as custodian, escrow agent, or fiduciary
  • Guarantee recovery of secrets under any circumstance

Users acknowledge that reconstruction of protected data depends entirely on the availability, integrity, and correct management of shards.

No Recovery Guarantee

By utilising the CyberShard platform, you hereby agree and warrant that:

Due to the mathematical properties of threshold cryptography, CyberShard cannot recover lost shards or reconstruct secrets if the required threshold is not met. This is a fundamental characteristic of the system and not a service limitation.

User Responsibility

The user is solely responsible for:

  • Secure storage of shard locations
  • Operational security (OpSec)
  • Access control and authentication mechanisms
  • Ensuring redundancy and geographic distribution

Limitation of Liability

CyberShard shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages, including but not limited to loss of access to digital assets, resulting from:

  • User mismanagement of shards
  • Loss, theft, or corruption of shard data
  • Improper implementation of recovery procedures
  • Security breaches outside CyberShard infrastructure
